What information do we collect and how do we use it?
When you purchase a ticket for one of our events online, we will add your email address automatically to our Events mailing list. We send only a handful of emails each year to our subscribers, to keep them informed of forthcoming events which may be of interest.
The subscription can be cancelled at any time by scrolling to the bottom of the latest newsletter and selecting ‘unsubscribe’. Once your email address has been unsubscribed, we will not add it again if you purchase another ticket in future, but you can change your mind and resubscribe at any time.
Upon joining the choir, Guildford Choral members provide us with their name, voice part and contact details (address, telephone number and email address). This information helps us administer the choir efficiently, we use email as the primary means of keeping our members informed of what’s going on.
